Need some help with a Fiction I'm writing.

Alright, so I have had a certain story Idea in my head now, and I am slowly bringing in new characters, working on them, changing them around, editing their designs, ect.

It involves a Futuristic storyline where a large group of humans have left earth to colonize another planet, and on the way they obtain the ability to gain a certain "Power". This new planet is called "Novisilia", and any person born on that planet will gain the ability to ask for a certain "Power". This causes a Powerful Alien race to wonder how they managed to get by their boundaries, and how they acquired something that good. To cut this short, the main character gets taken, as well as many other "Novisilians" to be tested on at the homeworld. Something goes wrong, he and the remaining Novisilians escape, he then vows revenge on the Alien Empire to what he did to him and the other Novisilians.

But I have came across some problems, its mostly having trouble actually writing the story! I don't mean plot or Point of View, I mean "X did this, and then Y and Z came along, causing A to do this".

And I was just wondering, are these good characters? ;A; At times I get really anxious if anybody would like these characters, and I just hope that I don't create any sues.

These are really good characters actually. Markus stands out in particular because of the balance between strengths and weaknesses.

I'm sure that as long as you be creative with the interactions, you'll do fine.
