The idea for Yukiko came from an RP with a friend on DA. we thought it would be amusing to introduce a fairy who actually does earn their paycheck at the mansion, and Yukiko's the result. She's the bright, cheery type, but is fairly submissive, is terrified of Marisa and Mima, and goes nuts when someone tries to take her chocolate from her. Yukiko was once a familiar in her previous incarnation before Flandre Kyuu'd her. Back then, she worked for Sakuya Belmont, who later ended up as Sakuya Izayoi after her defeat at Remilia's hands.

This is a pretty nice character. Keep it up.

Kuroi's probably the most developed out of my characters, as she's the only one I've given the full backstory on. She was born the daughter of a rich family who the Yakuza wanted gone. Eventually the leader of the Yakuza, Warui, killed her family. Kuroi decided to just keep living and not try for revenge, as she wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell. She was right, as she learned the hard way. Using magic, she was turned into a fairy and experimented on in hopes of finding the secrets to fairy regeneration. Over that time, Kuroi grew bitter and hateful. She's managed to leave her hatred behind with the help of the rest of the Scarlet Devil Mansion crew and now works as their accountant as opposed to the maid position she had while she still had the hatred. She's still cynical and sarcastic and that will never fade, but over time she's come to improve on her outlook. Also, I should have noted this in Yukiko's bio, but I do NOT have a main character OC. All of mine are side-characters.

I have to agree, she is one of the more developed Touhou fan characters I've seen.

She started off pretty shallow, as an antithesis of the happiness other fairies seem to have. She's grown a lot over time.

Lilina was the daughter of Koyomi Takino and Kurisu Kokkyokoro. this drove Warui nuts as she wanted Koyomi for herself. After Koyomi's death, she was experimented on to try to Destroy the Yakumos and be a living weapon, easily controlled through her cancer. Eventually, Yukari found Lilina and brought her back to Gensokyo where she raised her for a while until she found out that her "Brother" Kurisu was Lilina's father. She promptly handed over Lilina to him. Lilina is a practitioner of the Musabetsu Kakuto Ryuu, or School of Indiscriminate Grappling. Yes, the one from Ranma1/2. Lili's power from her father is locked within her ghost half by Warui, as she wanted to rip out all of Kurisu that she could.

Kagome's not really all that developed, to be honest. I need to work on that. She's got a crush on Nitori and works with computers. She's excellent with electronics, but terrible with chemicals, which she WANTS to use like Nitori. Kaguya often sees her after losing to Mima in an online game and being taunted. Mima ends up in this situation when Kaguya comes and screws up her computer. Mima's set up a little spell to put Kagome under her control at will, which Mima uses to spy on people and to be able to stick around despite lack of faith.

Heh, I've been taking a poll of what girls my watchers on DA like best. Yukiko's winning at the moment, probably because she was designed to be likable even if she's not as deep as Kuroi or Lilina.

Well, yay for her. I like Kuroi myself because she happens to have quite the backstory.

Joy's backstory is intertwined with Kuroi's, but I don't have a good picture of her yet.

Joy's backstory is very closely intertwined with Kuroi's. Both were experiments by the Yakuza, but unlike Kuroi, she already had powers before being turned into a fairy. She was a tourist in Japan for a vacation. She's always had her powers of Telepathy, but Precognition didn't develop until after she was turned to a fairy. It was Joy who got Yukari's attention with a telepathic signal. Where as Kuroi became bitter and hateful, Joy became paranoid and clumsy. Kuroi's the only person she fully trusts, and is sleeping with her.

Looks pretty sweet. Can't wait to see the rest of your OCs!

Warui is a Leader of a Yakuza group who was forcibly inducted but rose in the ranks. How she reacts to Lilina depends on if this is a Ranmaverse or a Touhou one. In her Ranma version, she takes steps to ensure Lilina is her child after Koyomi is raped. In the Touhou one, Lilina's birth drives Warui insane with jealousy at Kurisu for knocking Koyomi up. Eventually she runs into Bob, the yama of the Frozen North, who takes advantage of her jealousy to take control of her mind.

She looks pretty neat for someone so painstakingly twisted.

We'll see more of her twisted ways in Lilina's and Joy's backstories. Lilina's is next.

Ami was exiled from the moon after she jailbroke her friend Tara who was going to be executed for learning Yorihime's plans. They chose exile because she's not much of a threat they think. The problem is that Ami never told anyone she can break ANY code along with understanding any and all languages. They originally crash landed in Russia. When they landed, Ami used her powers to break the code on the data Tara grabbed using her ability to store information in her head simply by touching paper or a computer screen with info on it. Currently, the two are plotting to get Ami's rabbit back and return Kaguya to the moon as its proper ruler. Ami's also got a bit of a deal similar to Akyuu's going on with the gods and is the recorder of all human knowledge, being granted special access to information to do her job. The two are some of the original settlers of the moon.

Megumi used to be much smarter than she is. The reason for this is quite simple; Eirin screwed up her head and now she doesn't think very well anymore, which is a shame as she's one of the oldest rabbit youkai besides Tewi. Megumi's brain problems, along with the damage done to Ayane's eyesight, are the two big reasons Tewi is pissed off at Eirin. Megumi once went by the name Zhu Tu, or Bamboo Rabbit, when she lived in China. This is due to her ability activating when a starving village was going to eat her. They instead realized Megumi was responsible for the bamboo and heralded her as their savior with her bamboo, causing her to pop into youkai form. Eventually, the villagers began to worry about Meg's safety, and Tewi offered to bring Megumi to Gensokyo with her. The two have been close ever since.

I like how you handled Megumi. It's not everyday that you have someone who's an idiot not by nature but by the machinations of someone else.

Also, Russia must've been cruel to the Lunarians.
